Initial Damage Assessment

No damage history A bit of damage history...

The insurance company wanted to have one of the various salvage companies combing the field like vultures "take the wings off" (cut them off with a saw) and haul off the carcass. I had other ideas and contacted a few Grumman specialists. It's not a pretty sight right now, but I took the fact that this aircraft is still present at all - when NOTHING on 3/4 of the sides around it survived - as a sign that should definitely fly again!
