With the transmission done, the rear main seal and pilot bearing were replaced. Then the resurfaced flywheel was bolted back on, then the clutch installed, then the transmission installed. Next the starter and crossover pipe will be fitted and then the assembly will be hoisted back into the frame!
Resurfaced flywheel - ready to get dirty.
Clutch and pressure plate installed. Note extra "alignment tools" (cut-off M10 bolts) to help guide the transmission into place.
The clutch fork pivot ball, primary shaft tube, throwout bearing inner surface, and the primary shaft splines were covered with a thin cocktail of anti seize compound and grease.
And finally, the transmission was bolted up to the engine.
